 The Indian Environment and Forests Minister, Jairam Ramesh, issued a report titled "Climate change and India: A sectoral and regional analysis for the 2030s" prior to the annual climate summit, this year in Cancun, Mexico. Willie Soon and Madhav Khandekar, examined claims that computer models will soon be able to predict monsoon rainfall timing and intensity for the 2030s and found the claims were not based on a good understanding of climate or of forecasting.
